This leading edge, 10-week program could be exactly what you've been looking for to guide you to lasting changes and begin the New Year with a fresh perspective. It offers a unique approach to weight loss incorporating much more than what is on your plate and is the first of it's kind to be offered in New Orleans and the St. Bernard/Bywater/Marigny areas. It includes whole food nutrition, recipes, dining out and eating on the go tips and recommends a yoga and cardiovascular routine, but it also focuses on developing positive thinking, techniques for stress management, effective meditation, self inquiry, increased awareness and gratitude. Rather than follow the mainstream diet mentality of calorie counting, this program inspires participants to explore and implement practices that enhance a healthy mind and body.
Weekly meetings will take place at the Swan River Yoga Arabi Center where participants will receive instruction, guidance and support as well as learn from each other. The group is limited to 12 participants, fostering an intimate, trusting, accountable atmosphere where challenges can be explored and new habits developed. Practical assignments regarding food, exercise and emotional health will be given each week providing the tools, education and support to create the opportunity for a 10 to 25 pound weight loss and gain a positive, permanent life shift!
